About Us

Oklahoma BioRefining Corporation is in the early stages of building a full biomass processing and production facility in Stuttgart, Arkansas which it will also manage and operate. Varying grades of silica and silicon will be the primary product as percentage of sales revenue and the facility will be capable of 10 million gallons of cellulosic ethanol per year with advanced biofuels being approximately 24% of total sales revenue. The facility will utilize an enzymatic hydrolysis process capable of utilizing a wide range of biomass feed stocks.

Oklahoma BioRefining Corporation is a Delaware corporation formed in July of 2007 for the purpose of developing a project to build and operate a biomass production facility in Stuttgart, Arkansas (the “Primary Production Facility”) near Little Rock, Arkansas. The Primary Production Facility will produce raw materials, advanced biofuels, chemicals, chemical precursors and value-added products from biomass using a licensed, proprietary technology. Having a diverse product mix enhances OBC’s profitability.

Oklahoma BioRefining Corporation will be one of the first cellulose based biorefineries in the United States, which it expects will allow the implementation of technological advances to diversify its product line and allow it to retain its profitability as new biorefineries come online.

The location of the Company’s Primary Production Facility in Stuttgart, Arkansas, will provide excellent access to distribution and material acquisition routes (road, rail and water), sufficient water supply, sufficient supplies of alternative fuels for plant power (coal) and is centrally located near multiple feedstock and potential feedstock sources. The Company’s primary feedstock will be rice straw, with forestry and other industrial/agricultural biomass wastes as potential alternatives.
